On Thursday December 17th 2009 a very enjoyable Commemoration Evening celebration took place at the school. There were about 500 parents and friends in the audience who were delighted to celebrate the award of prizes and certificates and other trophies to over 300 students. We were entertained by our Senior Choir. The address was given by David Jones, former Headteacher of the school and college. David Jones campaigned passionately to successfully re-instate our Sixth Form College in 1996 and he officially opened our new College building prior to the presentations.

As with so many events at Philip Morant it was wonderful to have the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of so many members of the community and to recognise the support given to the school by staff, parents and friends of the school.
