Open Evening Information
The date of our Open Evening for entrants into Year 7 will be on Thursday 3rd October 2013.
Technology Aptitude Admissions
We are able to offer a number of places under our Technology College criteria. To apply for a place under this criteria Supplementary Information Forms need to be completed and returned to the school. The Supplementary Information Forms are available to download below or from Ms Bramwell, Admissions Manager, at the school. The test will be on Saturday 28th September 2013.

Admission Appeals
The Local Authority will be writing to all Year 6 parents to advise of their child's secondary school placement on 1st March 2013. Appeal Hearings for Philip Morant will be heard on Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th June 2013. Completed appeal forms must be received by the school no later than Friday 19th April 2013. Parents can either use the Essex County Council Appeal Form or our School's Appeal Form. In both cases the appeal paperwork must be returned to the school address below.
After the appeal deadline date of the 19th April 2013, parents may submit additional information/evidence to support an appeal. Any additional information/evidence that parens wish to submit must be received by the school by no later than Friday 3rd May 2013. Any information/evidence to support an appeal not submitted by the deadline of Friday 3rd May 2013 might not be considered at the appeal hearing.
