Getting Involved

You have been your child's first teacher from the moment they were born. You have helped to shape their lives and the way they behave, so why stop now. Getting involved only takes a few small steps but it could help your child make big leaps forward.

I Can Explain

At 14 your child will be given a level for each subject. Each level is a measure of how much your child knows, understands and can do. By the end of Key Stage 3 - when your child is 14, they should reach level 5 and above.

A key skill that is important to all subjects is the ability to explain.

This short film shows you some simple ways in which you can help your child develop the skill of explaining.
