No Retirement Yet!
Franc N. can forget dreaming of warm retirement garage,
after last year's successful season he's been kept on as a second car.
He'll become a training vehicle for new drivers and allow more students to
participate in Greenpower.
Why Franc N. Stein?
A question we rarely get asked is - "why is Franc N. Stein
called Franc N. Stein?" but we'll answer it anyway. The school has 5 houses -
Faraday, Ryder, Aylward,
Nuffield and Churchill - which lead to our
first car being called "Franc". Franc
N. Stein is made from an old aerobic stepper, old bike forks and other unlikely
scrap so he is a bit like the Frankenstein's monster... hence....Franc N. Stein.
