Still No Retirement!
Franc N. can forget dreaming of warm retirement garage,
after last year's successful season and a surprise qualification for the
national final, he's been kept on for his 3rd season.
This year Franc. has undergone a complete refurbishment in the
hands of our new year 7 team.
Refurbishment
Franc. now belongs to the new year 7 team. The team are
still part of the same Philip Morant Racing Team and share the same workshop but
are in charge of their own sponsorship, fundraising, budget, design and car preparation.
With some changes to the regulations requiring work to be
carried out on Franc and the stature of the new drivers offering scope for
alteration the time was right for a full strip down and rebuild of Franc. The
rebuild has included a new seat, improved rollover structure and better side
impact protection. It also meant Mr. McCain and Mr. Barker had to get
acquainted with a welding torch...
