PHILIP MORANT COLLEGE STUDENTS ARE TOP OF THE CLASS AGAIN!
Philip Morant College students have done it again and today celebrated another excellent set of A Level results, improving even further on last year’s grades. The students’ hard work has translated into a 100% pass rate and a further increase in the percentage of students achieving the top grades.
John Lovett, Head of College said: “I am delighted and overjoyed at this year’s impressive results, but most of all I am immensely proud of our amazing students and their dedicated teachers for their hard work, resilience and ‘can do’ attitude, which has culminated in one of our best sets of results ever!”
Mr Lovett continues: “A Level reform has placed increasing demands on students, their parents and their teachers which makes this set of results all the more impressive. Our close-knit college community means we work very closely with our students, support them continuously throughout their studies and build excellent relationships, and this set of results clearly reflects this.” Mr Lovett also commented on the innovative VI6 project – where students study at the University of Essex for some A-Level courses – which has reaped significant results.
All of our students who applied to university have secured a place at one of their chosen institutions. Intended destinations of Philip Morant students are diverse and include an English Literature degree at Cambridge University, a degree-level apprenticeship in the financial sector, a gap year abroad in the voluntary sector, and a degree in Mental Health Nursing.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our students every success for the future.
